Abstract:
A survey of concrete structures representative of many types of aggregates, methods of construction and con-ditions of exposure in the United States and Canada. Types of defective concrete are illustrated and the causes traced to such factors as mix, consistency, soundnessof aggregates, quantity of cement, and other faulty construction practices.
