Abstract:These recommendations are intended to aid manu-facturersof concrete building block and tile to make products that meet standard specifications of the American Concrete Institute and to produce them economically. In addition to recent developments the manufacturing procedure and in the use of porous aggregates, considerable attention is given to plant layout. This recommended practice is intended particularly for plants with an average daily production of 500 or more units, but much of the material will be of value for smaller units.
