Compares the behavior and characteristics of portland cement mortars containing small percentages of diatomaceous earth with plain portland cement mortars. Characteristics noted are yield, strength, and volume changes The effects of under various conditions of curing. diatomaceous earth on consistency and time of set have also been noted.
