Abstract:
An outline of practices which have generally been found desirable for first class results in measuring, mixing, and placing concrete. Although many of these recommendations are applicable and should be used in connec-tion with special types of concrete, i.e., lightweight, pre-packed, etc., it is conventional concrete to which they specifically apply. Presents a comparatively high standard of practice rather than common practices; therefore recommendations are made on a should basis leaving to the user the responsibility of putting them on a shall basis in specifications for his work to the extent he considers worthwhile
