Abstract:
Describes the analysis and design of prestressed concrete bridge members as performed by a small-scale electronic computer. Specifically, the member must be a simply supported longitudinal highwqy bridge beam carrying standard AASHO trucks. To demonstrate results of programing, an illustrative problem is presented showing input data, computational effort, and computer results.
