Title: Fixed-End Moments in Columns of Asymmetrical Multispan Integral Frames due to Longitudinal Displacements
Author(s): Shu-T'ien Li
Publication: Journal Proceedings
Appears on pages(s): 1373-1386
Abstract:Presents a general method for determining fixed-end moments in columns due to thermal changes, shrinkage, and rib-shortening of the monolithically continuous girder in asymmetrical integral bridge frames having different span lengths, column heights, and moments of inertia either constant or variable, and hence it is applicable to any combination of them in any form.
