Abstract:General formulas are presented and a computer program described by which the membrane stresses may be calculated in hyperbolic paraboloid shells having a parallelogram shape in plan with four corners at arbitrary elevations in space. Stresses due to uniform surface, live and wind loads in any direction are considered.
