Abstract:
Effects of various factors on the formation of voids in the surfaces of concrete structures compacted with internal vibrators were studied. Vibration procedure, consistency, layer thickness, form material, release agent, and mix proportions were varied. The vibration procedure was the factor which had the largest influence on the surface appearance.
