Tests on nine simply supported reinforced concrete, rectangular beams with differing spans under single loading point studies loads applied by steel plates, column stubs, or traverse arms. Discusses influence of span, method of load application on the plast ic hinge rotation capacity, makes comparisons with pre-diet ions from available theories.
