Title: Diagonal Cracking and Ultimate Loads of Lightweight Concrete Deep Beams
Author(s): Fung-Kew Kong and Avtar Singh
Publication: Journal Proceedings
Appears on pages(s): 513-521
Keywords: Beams (supports), cracking (fracturing), deep beams, fly ash, lightweight aggregate concrete, loads (forces), reinforced concrete, research,
Abstract:Tests on 45 sintered fly ash lightweight concrete deep beams provide supplementary information to that in earlier ACI paper. Different types and amounts of web reinforcement used and attempt made to isolate effects of span-depth ratio and clear-shear-span to depth ratio on crack control, on diagonal cracking loads, and on ultimate shear loads.
