Abstract:
Tests on 45 sintered fly ash lightweight concrete deep beams provide supplementary information to that in earlier ACI paper. Different types and amounts of web reinforcement used and attempt made to isolate effects of span-depth ratio and clear-shear-span to depth ratio on crack control, on diagonal cracking loads, and on ultimate shear loads.
