Abstract:
Investigation of Behavior of web reinforced T-beams containing varying amount of longitudinal steel in bottom than in top and subjected to combined bending and torsion. Eighteen fully reinforced T-beams, having same nominal cross section, tested under various combinations of moment and torsion. Methods presented to predict ultimate load capacity of unsymmetrically reinforced T-beams subjected to combined bending and torsion; experimental ultimate load interaction curves presented.
