Abstract:
This paper, presenting practical applications for numerical simulation, is divided into two parts: 1. Verification application of the numerical concrete model presented here and 2. Introduction of an on-site rheology assessment Rheo-Box, which is to be used for the concrete acceptance test in order to verify rheological parameters of the feedback to obtain satisfactory form filling. It is shown that simulated values correspond well to both analytical experimental results for concrete flow. In the future, numerical simulation will be a more common tool for predictions possibly complicated SCC castings.
