Abstract:The main objective of this symposium is to present a broad perspective on the important issues related to serviceability (deflection and cracking) and safety of structures from both a theoretical and design perspective. The intent of the symposium is to honor Andy Scanlon’s contribution to ACI over his many years of service by focusing on presentations by people who have worked closely with Andy in his areas of interest.
