Abstract:
An innovative structure of a double-curvature R-C shell covering the Polish State Railways hall from 1938 is recalled in this paper. This object, existing till now in Warsaw, was built on the basis of the design of Professor Wacław Żenczykowski. In the paper the analysis of the calculations and the erection of the construction on the background of the present state of knowledge is carried out.
