Abstract:
A prototype integrated computer system has been developed to assist in planning and controlling concrete placing operations. Developing the system has illustrated the complex managerial decisions that must be made during the process. The system has considerable value in assisting less experienced personnel in reaching such decisions. The program is an expert system designed to aid in equipment selection.
