Abstract:
With a large job such as the I-90 project in Seattle, the materials involved range from the ordinary to the unusual. There are also substantial amounts of materials involved. This article explains some of the quality control procedures that the Washington State Department of Transportation enacted in an effort to insure that the construction of the project met the specifications.
