Abstract:
Analysis, based on Poiseville's law, of data on the changes in time seen in the depth of accumulation of the bleed water from freshly cast mortar and concrete indicated the existence of a relationship between this depth of bleed water accumulation and the time elapsed after addition of water to cement. Plots mutually relating these two variables proved to follow lines changing abruptly in character to mark three steps during the phase of bleed water exudation and two steps in the resorption phase.
