Abstract:
Reported herein are the results of an instrumentation program conducted during construction of the Dupont Circle Subway Station in Washington, D.C. Work was performed by the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaignm under contract to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Much of the information on shotcrete properties used for this study was obtained from a field test program conducted in Dupont Circle Station under contract to the Department of Transportation (Parker, 1973).
