Abstract:
Described are types of pozzolans available for use, effects of these in concrete with respect to various important areas of interest and proportioning procedures whereby desired properties can be achieved by using pozzolans in proper relationship with other ingredients all within the framework of ACI 211.1-70 "Recommended Practice for Selecting Proportions for Normal Weight Concrete." No slump concrete is not considered.
