Abstract: This paper presents results of experiments and a theoretical concept of composite systems consisting of Portland cement concrete bonded by polymer mortars. Criterions for time-dependent shear failure are given. The criterions are based on the different deformation behavior of Portland cement mortar and polymer mortar.
