Abstract:This paper reviews the basis for the current CEB provisions governing the punching shear strength of slabs as laid down in the CEB Bulletin d'Information, No. 111, which contains a draft of an international Model Code for structures in concrete. The Model Code is still under preparation, which means that changes might take place before the final edition.
