Abstract:Since 1973, the Building Research Establishment has been making observations of the dynamic behavior of a number of concrete structures as part of a research programme investigating the response of structures to wind excitation. . .The paper describes the experimental technique used in the vibrator tests and discusses the results obtained and their implications.
