Abstract:
Cement blocks are destined to play an important part in all forms of construction work in the future; concrete construction is here to stay. It has every virtue possessed by any other building material, and additional ones. When we look back and see the development of the cement block; note the dificulties through which it has passed; consider the mistakes that have been made both in its manufacture and exploitation; it is a wonder it has survived, and it would not have survived, had it not inherently the virtues it possesses.
