Abstract:
Before going into the subject assigned, the writer wishes to present for consideration the following from the 1915 edition of the building code recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters. The National Board of Fire Underwriters has received many requests for construction specifications which will properly protect dwelling houses against fire. This pamphlet has been prepared in response to such inquiries, and is addressed directly to owners of dwellings and to carpenters and builders who erect them.
