Abstract:
At the meeting the American Concrete Institute in Chicago in February, 1917, your committee presented a propsed Standard Building Regulations for the use of Reinforced Concrete. Since these regulations differed in several and Reinforced Concrete, it was decided by the convention to defer adoption of the American Concrete Institute Building Regulations until more data showing the reasons for the differences had been presented.
