Abstract:The excessive cost of form lumber during the last few years has directed the attention of contractors to the question of using steel forms for flat-slab floors in reinforced-concrete industrial construction. A rapidly increasing list of operations ranging from 125,000 to over 500,000 sq. ft. of floor, where metal floor forms have been used shows the inherent possibilities of the idea.
