Abstract: Committee E-4 on Fire Resistance of Concrete was authorized by the Board of Direction at a meeting held in April, 1923. The purpose of the committee was the “study and review of test data and the make a report as early as possible on the comparative fire resistance of these various types of concretes with special reference to the kind of aggregate."
