Abstract:
The title is purposely chosen because the three common products using cement, as a bond all show crazing. This difficulty is not restricted either to neat cement or mortar or concrete. So far as cement products are concerned we are all familiar with the manifestation of crazing. Some believe they know the cause of this and a, still smaller number believe they know how to prevent it. (Parenthetically, they are eligible for membership on this committee provided they will demonstrate facts and not present theories.) Consequently this paper will not discuss crazing objectively but metaphorically and subjectively.
