Abstract: For many years, art marble has been the trade name of a concrete product manufactured by the Chicago Art Marble Co. Recent practice, however, has broadened the meaning of this term so that it is now understood to include all cast concrete products made with selected marble as aggregate. It is employed extensively for floor tile, trim, wainscotting, stair treads, and for ornamental purposes.
