Abstract:
Random Oriented Fiber Pads (ROF) have been utilized by the concrete industry for almost twenty years. This paper reviews past testing of this material and compares previous test data with recent data from tests conducted in 1995. The tests performed on ROF pads consisted of compression testing under both uniform and non-uniform load conditions and shear testing. The test data demonstrate consistent performance characteristics over a ten year period.
