Abstract:
A variety of methods have been utilized by designers to eliminate the water seepage path at the joint armouring or nosing angle and concrete interface. This paper provides a description of common methods of sealing this interface, the problems encountered with current practice and an effective solution recently specified by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario.
