Abstract:
Contemporary cementitious tile adhesives are available either as single-pack systems or two-pack systems. By judicious selection and proportioning of cement, filler, polymer, water-retention agent, and auxiliary chemicals, it is possible to formulate a single-pack tile adhesive having superior engineering and durability properties. The present article describes the engineering and durability properties of a single-pack tile adhesive formulated by the author.
