Abstract:
Ready-mixed concrete producers are rapidly recognizing the benefits of automated coloring. While automated coloring systems have been established in the concrete masonry industry for many years, equipment designed especially for tinting ready-mixed concrete has become available only recently. Ready-mixed producers throughout the U.S. have embraced the automated systems as a means to control costs, speed truck turn-around time, simplify inventory and labor requirements, improve product quality, and meet the growing demand for decorative concrete.
