Abstract:
The functions of the inspector include cooperation with the contractor in planning for good workmanship and progress, observation of construction operations and the recording of important facts relative to the work, and the enforcement of specifications and good construction practice. The qualifications for the inspector are discussed; he must be experienced, interested, able to cooperate, be honest and have lots of common sense.
