Abstract:
Statistical methods provide valuable tools for assessing results of strength teats, and such information is also of value in refining design criteria and specifications. The report discusses briefly the numerous variations that occur in the strength of concrete and presents statistical methods which are useful in interpreting these variations. Criteria are offered that can be used to establish specifications and maintain required uniformity.
