Abstract:
Bleeding can have far-reaching effects on the preparation of concrete and it’s a phenomenon which has too often been ignored. This paper briefly discusses some of its important consequences with particular emphasis on tensile strength and deformational behavior, and suggests a method by which effects of bleeding on the internal structure of concrete may be studied.
