Abstract:
Curves for determining the allowable direct compressive stress in panels continously supported along all edges and loaded in uniaxial compression are presented. The development equations are presented along with numerical examples illustrating the use of the curves. Comparisions are made with ublished results for panels supported along loaded edges only.
