Abstract:
An algorithm is described which may be used to compute the fixed end action and stiffness matrices for nonprismatic beams subject to point and distributed loads. The program may be used as a subroutine in a structural analysis program or as a stand-alone program for use with a manually-performed moment distribution analysis.
