Publication: Journal Proceedings
Appears on pages(s): 50-54
Keywords: deflection; elastic analysis; flat concrete plates; flat concrete slabs;lateral pressure; models; stiffness; structural analysis.
Abstract:Two sets of experimental measurements of lateral deflections of flat plate structures are used to verify the equivalent frame method based on an equivalent beam developed earlier by the author. An improvement of the equivalent beam for narrow slab panels and its extension to represent exterior panels with overhang are also given.
