Abstract:
The most recent developments in materials testing technique are the nondestructive methods. Considerable attention has, recently been focused on the Schmidt concrete test hammer, which is based on an empirical relationship between the strength of concrete and the rebound of a steel plunger which is impinged against the face of the concrete under controlled conditions. The test hammer, its calibration, and use have been described in an earlier Journal Paper. This material is offered as addenda to the earlier report.
