Abstract:
A project of an underwater concrete structure repair using an innovation of anti-washout underwater concrete is presented in this paper. Presented in this paper are the development concept of the anti-washout underwater concrete and its application for solving specific problems in this repair and construction works. The results showed that the developed mix proportion of the underwater concrete together with the procedures, methods and techniques of underwater concrete pouring in marine environment with wind waves, can be applied to the Pilot Station Building Renovation Project in Samut Prakarn Province. The underwater concrete had good anti-washout resistance in fresh state and did not allow blending with outer water. This success leads to the new technique for efficient concrete pouring in underwater condition.
