Abstract:
Balanced cantilever method has been use to erect the cable-stayed section of the Constitución de 1812" bridge over Cadiz Bay. Standard segments are 20 m long and 34 m width and weigh 4.000 kN.The construction sequence has been determined by the ultimate resistance of the tower that must resist the unbalanced bending moments at both sides of the tower."
