Abstract:
This article describes four bridges executed recently by Dragados y Construcciones S.A. - Santa Isable Bridge. It is 164 m long with 3 spans of 33/98/33 m. The deck is formed by a cast in place continuous inclined web box girder which thickness increases towards the piers. - Fernando Reig cable-stayed Bridge. With a length of 276 m and one 89,5 m high A shaped tower, the stayed bridge is formed by two precast box girders in 12 m sections. - Kukulara Viaduct. It is integrated by two parallel separated highway structures with a length of 250 m and spans of 40 m. 20 m long cast ""in situ"" box girder segments compose the deck, executed by the incremental launching method. - Riaño Viaduct. Almost totally constructed by precast elements, it is 838,5 m long, having 21 spans with I shaped girders of 37,40 m long. The piers, formed by two columns have been precast in 21 m high modulus reaching a maximum height of 63 m.
