Abstract:
In analyzing the title of this paper it is evident that a consideration is to be given first to mortars and concrete themselves, secondly to compressed air as a motive power and thirdly to the handling of the concrete and mortar by means of compressed air. For the purposes of this discussion, mortar may be defined as a mixture of lime, cement or other cementitious material with sand and water; concrete as a mixture of cement, sand, water, and agglomerate material such as stone, cinders, etc. Compressed air will have consideration as a motive power.
