Abstract:

The composition of the expanded clay concrete mortar, prepared using mixed cement, was studied. Mixed cement was obtained by separate grinding of quartz sand to a specific surface of 100 and 500 m2/kg and Portland cement with specific surface of 400 m2/kg. It is established that, the fine-dispersed filler, in comparison with the coarse-dispersed filler, increases the strength of the samples to some extent. The samples test showed a slight advantage in strength (on average not exceeding 10 %) from the use of a fine filler with a specific surface area of 500 m2/kg in comparison with similar compositions containing a coarse dispersed filler with a specific surface of 100 m2/kg in concrete with a mixed cement content of 600 kg/m3. In compositions with a flow rate of mixed cement 200 kg/m3, the effect of the filler dispersity increasing to the strength growth is more significant and reaches of 20 to 30 % due the concrete mortar part structure compaction. But at the same time low-strength compositions with a compressive strength less than 10 MPa, the durability of which is not guaranteed, are formed.
