Abstract:
In this study, compressive strength values were measured at different curing times (3, 7, 14, 28, and 56 days). The value of the room-high temperature and standard curing (0RHSC) series is higher than that of the high temperature and standard curing (0HSC) series. The percentage of compressive strength enhancement of the 0HSC series is higher than that of the high temperature and wet curing (HWC) series. Based on the experimental results, curing for 1 day at room temperature followed by a high curing temperature will be helpful for specimens to gain higher strength than those directly cured at the high temperature and wet curing condition would limit the development of compressive strength. Additionally, the compressive strength of the 5HWC series is higher than that of the HSC series but lower than that of the 5HSC series, which indicates that cement will weaken the negative effect of wet curing but will not eliminate it.
