This article is the fifth of a series of articles intended to explain the rationale behind some of the upcoming changes in the ACI 562 Code. It explains the rationale behind developing a code for existing structures, when the ACI 562 Code should be applied, and differences between the ACI 562 and ACI 318 Codes.
