Abstract:
The 1.2 km (0.75 mile) Shura Bridge will provide main access to Shura Island, the main island in The Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia. To deliver time savings, the project’s 60 precast concrete bridge-beam and edge-beam segments are being installed onto piers using a mobile floating crane concept.
