Abstract:
Surendra P. Shah’s love of both concrete and teaching has enabled him to share his knowledge globally throughout the concrete community. A champion for PhD students and a mentor who takes personal interest in those he teaches, Shah generously donated a very impactful $54,000 to the ACI Foundation toward establishing a new fellowship. A fully funded 5-year fellowship requires $75,000 in funding, and thanks to those in Shah’s community, this goal was an easy one to reach.
