Abstract:
More than 200 columns with high-strength reinforcement have been tested in Japan since the late 1980s. Results from these tests are often published only in Japanese, limiting access for non-Japanese readers. To broaden access, a database was compiled with parameters describing the specimens, test setup, and test results. These parameters were based on those used in the ACI 369 rectangular column database to facilitate comparison with existing reinforced-concrete column databases.
